Job summary

Radar is seeking a Maps Product Engineer to strengthen the data foundation behind our geocoding platform. You will own the data layer, from ingestion to serving, and work across Scala, Python, and Rust to ensure reliable, accurate, and fresh location data at scale.

You will collaborate with engineers in NYC HQ, contribute to AI-enabled enrichment, and help ship large-scale data pipelines that power over 1 billion API calls per day.

Responsibilities

• Own the data foundation under the geocoder across ingested data models and serving paths.
• Build data pipelines to expand coverage and quality across US and international data.
• Explore adding AI enrichment, labeling, and quality guardrails in the data layer.
• Work across the geocoding stack from HorizonDB serving path to the Node.js/TypeScript API.
• Impact over 1B API calls per day and direct customer feedback.
