MyOme is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its integrations and portal team, enabling patients and providers to order genetic testing and understand results through portal enhancements and backend systems.

You will add features to backend systems, build reusable components for integration partners, and develop new APIs while participating in agile processes. Strong focus on HIPAA compliance, production-grade Python/Django, and API design will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience, including healthcare/biotech exposure.
• HIPAA compliance and healthcare software experience required/preferred.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade web applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and Django and API design.
• Genetics experience is preferable.
• No specific degree prerequisite.
