Job summary

Yendo, based in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join a small, collaborative team building fintech solutions. You’ll own systems lifecycle, design robust services, and contribute across backend and potentially full-stack work in Go, TypeScript, Java, Python, or Ruby.

You'll work from our Deep Ellum office with a culture focused on customer impact, resilience, and responsible growth. Competitive compensation, equity, insurance, 401K and unlimited PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with backend or full stack solutions (e.g., Go, TypeScript, Java, Python, or Ruby).
• Prefer experience with Postgres, Redis, and AWS, but not required.
• Enjoy thinking about systems—their life cycles, edge cases, interactions, and failure modes.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Experience in fintech, payments, processing, card networks, banking, or early stage startup is helpful, but not required.
• Passionate about financial inclusion and mobility.
