Job summary

Yendo is seeking an experienced backend/full‑stack engineer to help build the next generation of fintech products from our Dallas office. You will collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes system thinking, independence, and a passion for financial inclusion and mobility. Previous fintech or payments experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with backend or full stack solutions.
• Prefer experience with Postgres, Redis, and AWS, but not required.
• Enjoy thinking about systems—life cycles, edge cases, interactions, and failure modes.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Experience in fintech, payments, processing, card networks, banking, or early stage startup is helpful, but not required.
• Passionate about financial inclusion and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the product development cycle from start to finish to shape backend and platform features.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend or full‑stack services.
• Focus on reliability, observability, security, and performance.
