Qualifications

• A strong engineer first with deep systems thinking and architecture.
• You've managed an engineering team (1+ year) and scaled impact.
• Fluent in a statically typed language; Go experience is a plus.
• Passionate about financial inclusion and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team: coaching, career growth, feedback, performance, and hiring for backend engineers.
• Set and defend technical direction: architecture, quality, and delivery.
• Stay hands-on: design reviews, code reviews, and contributing on tough problems.
• Own outcomes end to end: partner with product, design, and engineering to ship solutions.
• Recruit and raise the bar: hire exceptional engineers and elevate practices.
