Uncapped is seeking a senior backend engineer for a remote role based in Poland, with occasional visits to the office. You will build secure microservices for financial systems, owning services end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.

You'll work with Java 21, Spring Boot/Cloud, GCP, and Kubernetes, using SQL/NoSQL databases as needed. The role values autonomy, continuous learning, and a high testing standard, in a meetings-light, Kanban-driven team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring stack and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD and testing frameworks.
• Ability to work autonomously in a meetings-light, Kanban-driven environment.
• Willingness to visit the office twice a week and collaborate with teams.
