Job summary

Monte Carlo is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build the core of our agent trust platform, focusing on backend services, distributed systems, and agentic workflows. You will prototype, architect, test, and deploy, with frontend work when required.

You will ship production-grade backend services in Python, design scalable architectures, and contribute to data pipelines behind analytics and customer-facing features. This role combines deep backend work with frontend delivery as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production backend services.
• Experience designing, running, and debugging APIs and services under load.
• Experience with data pipelines or data-heavy systems on AWS and cloud-native services.
• PySpark and ML platform experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take vague problem statements from concept to production: prototype fast, pick architecture, build, test, and deploy.
• Build and run production-grade backend services and APIs in Python powering Monte Carlo's core platform.
• Design and scale distributed systems for reliability, observability, and speed as data and agent volume grow.
• Start with simple, flexible designs and evolve them as the product scales.
• Build and maintain data pipelines behind analytics and ML features.
• Collaborate with product, ML, and infra to ship customer value and build React front ends when needed.
