Job summary

WeaveGrid is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, implement, and deploy software with device manufacturers and utilities. You will shape the technical direction, work with Python and Go, and own end-to-end features in a cloud-based microservices environment.

You will collaborate with product managers, ensure reliability, and participate in on-call rotations. The role offers hybrid work with SF office presence, and opportunities to work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CircleCI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant backend software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience building microservices and cloud-based backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality backend software in Go or Python.
• Own long-term health, reliability, and debt of your area of code.
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to deliver scalable DERMS features.
• Roll out, instrument, monitor, and ensure reliability in production.
