Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a backend engineer in the Informatica IDMC team to build and operate production-grade Java services in a cloud-native architecture. You will own end-to-end features, contribute to data pipelines and APIs, and work with PMs and senior engineers to continuously improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of full-time software development experience in a product or enterprise environment.
• Strong Java (JVM) skills and OO design.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes basics.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, Cassandra or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End feature ownership from design to production.
• Develop and maintain reliable Java backend services in a cloud-native microservices setup.
• Build data pipelines, APIs, and integration workflows.
• Implement automated tests across unit/integration/contract levels.
• Engage in CI/CD, code reviews, and Agile processes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, LMTS, and PMs.
• Grow specialization in a platform area (data movement, performance, or AI tools).
