Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong object-oriented design and software architecture skills.
• Strong Python development experience with production APIs.
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience designing and operating microservices or distributed systems.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and writing efficient SQL.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Cloud platforms knowledge, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• API security, authentication, and authorization expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build scalable Python applications using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Design event-driven workflows using Kafka and asynchronous processing.
• Develop reliable integrations with satellite providers and external platforms.
• Create API contracts and maintain technical documentation.
• Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Own projects from development through production support.
