Job summary

Evio is seeking a Software Developer to build backend cloud-native applications using Python and AWS services. You will design scalable systems and data workflows powering our analytics platforms, collaborating with product, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver reliable services using AWS Lambda, Redshift, RDS, and more.

You will contribute to data processing, integration, architecture, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, compliance, and cost-efficiency across backend solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, information systems, or a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of software development with technical leadership.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and AWS services (Lambda, API, Glue).
• Experience with healthcare data (HL7, medical/Rx claims) is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend apps on AWS.
• Build serverless functions and microservices for data workflows.
• Collaborate with data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Design scalable data architectures using AWS data lakes and warehouses.
• Develop ETL pipelines with AWS Glue and Python.
• Own security, compliance, and performance of backend systems.
