You will work across NestJS, Postgres, and secure data flows, shaping a scalable backend that powers mobile clients and real-time features.

You will lead architectural decisions, drive best practices, and collaborate with product, design, iOS/Android, and hardware teams to deliver a polished, high-impact platform used by millions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with TypeScript.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modeling and query optimization skills.
• Experience designing APIs for long-lived mobile clients.
• Idempotency, retry, and sync for offline devices.
• Hands-on AWS with infrastructure as code and observability practices.
• Security and privacy controls for PII data.
• Excellent communication across product, hardware, and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture, feature development, and system design.
• Lead core features with TypeScript and modern backend frameworks.
• Improve infra, data pipelines, and offline-first architecture.
• Drive testing strategy, CI reliability, and tooling.
• Collaborate with product, design, iOS/Android, and hardware teams.
• Provide technical leadership and long-term backend roadmap.
