Job summary

Brick is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own key parts of the Android app, architecture, feature development, and system design. You will work across Kotlin, Jetpack libraries, and device policy integrations to deliver a polished, high-performance product.

You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and hardware teams to deliver cross-cutting experiences on mobile-to-device interactions, with hands-on leadership and mentorship across the Android codebase.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android experience with Kotlin.
• Deep knowledge of Jetpack and Android lifecycle.
• Experience with system features like Accessibility or device controls is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Android Architecture & Feature Development across Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
• Improve app performance, background behavior, battery usage, and offline support.
• Drive quality, testing strategies, CI reliability, and tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with product/design/backend/hardware to shape Android experiences.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the Android team.
