Job summary

Commure is building an AI-powered Operating System for healthcare, integrating ambient AI, dictation, intelligent agents, and autonomous RCM processing across EHRs. The Senior Backend Engineer will own end-to-end AI feature lifecycles, shipping production AI into core revenue cycle operations with guardrails and compliance baked in.

You will design and implement scalable backend solutions, lead integration efforts, and collaborate closely with clinicians and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in frontend and backend languages.
• Experience with Git, cloud platforms, containers, and databases.
• Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end solutions and drive architecture decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural direction of the RCM platform.
• Build end-to-end products to transform revenue cycle management.
• Own integration workflows from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and healthcare teams to gather requirements.
• Improve system reliability, observability, and performance.
