Job summary

t0.ai is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to design scalable Python services on GCP that power our AI finance platform. You will own APIs, data models, and infrastructure to support rapid iteration while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability and security.

You will collaborate with AI engineers to ensure data enhances models and products, delivering production-ready systems that scale with customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend experience with Python at scale.
• Deep knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database design.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices.
• Familiarity with GCP services (Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, KMS, etc.).
• Strong grasp of security and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect distributed systems on GCP for high-volume data.
• Build well-structured APIs and services in Python to power AI applications.
• Own schema and data modeling for long-term growth and flexibility.
