Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Advanced Research team. You will build and maintain cloud services, collaborating with Security, Data Science, and Engineering to develop innovative detection capabilities and integrate them into the Falcon platform.

You’ll work in a distributed, remote-first, high-trust environment where you manage your own time, with opportunities to mentor and learn while solving challenging security problems.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency required.
• BS degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Java/Scala/Go/Python).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns, and multithreading.
• Experience building scalable production services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins/Bamboo).
• Experience with major cloud provider APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Effective cross-functional communication across company levels.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance workflows and decision-making.

Responsibilities
