Job summary

Close is seeking a senior software engineer to redesign the core CRM data model, enabling flexible relationships between leads, contacts, opportunities, and custom objects. You’ll shape how data is stored, retrieved, and exposed to agents across the MCP foundation, surface powerful search, and ensure reliability at scale.

You’ll also drive AI-native features, data cleaning, and AI search capabilities, while preserving fast performance for busy sales workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and migrating complex data models for scalable CRM-like systems (≤140 chars)
• Experience with search indexing, relevance, and large-scale data retrieval (≤140 chars)
• Proficient in building reliable, fast backends and modern APIs (≤140 chars)

Responsibilities
