Job summary

Lightfield is hiring an experienced engineer to architect and scale the data infrastructure powering its AI-driven CRM. You will own data models, backend services, and system observability to support complex customer workflows at scale.

You’ll work across teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions while mentoring teammates and shaping engineering culture in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on infrastructure and backend systems.
• Strong data modeling, database design, and query optimization skills.
• Experience with LLM-driven architectures and scalable data platforms.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale core data infrastructure powering Lightfield's CRM.
• Design data models and backend services for scalable, AI-powered workflows.
• Build reliable, observable systems with strong performance characteristics.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering culture and practices.
• Collaborate across teams to recruit, onboard, and grow the engineering function.
