Bank of America is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, modernize, and support database-driven applications, Oracle components, ETL processes, and data integrations for enterprise financial management. The role emphasizes Oracle Exadata, SQL, PL/SQL, testing, and performance optimization.

You will mentor peers, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and ensure delivery of reliable, scalable data solutions across the tech stack in a collaborative in-office environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend development, database development, ETL, and data integration.
• Strong experience with Oracle Exadata, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL tools Informatica or DataStage and batch/near-real-time data integrations.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and automation; knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.

Responsabilidades

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components and solution enablers while maintaining architecture integrity.
• Mentors other software engineers and coaches CI/CD practices and tooling automation.
• Executes requirement refinement, estimates work, and delivers stories through the lifecycle.
• Automates manual release activities and designs automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Develops and supports Oracle database components and ETL processes with SQL/PLSQL; optimizes performance.
• Develops backend data services and interfaces for end-to-end application functionality.
