Hunter Industries seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Cloud) to lead the design, development and operation of AWS‑based backend services for an IoT consumer application. You will write production Python, define API contracts, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

You will own telemetry pipelines, device communication patterns, CI/CD, security practices, and scalable architectures across data stores and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years backend/cloud system design/operation.
• Experience leading technical design for distributed, serverless, event‑driven, or IoT‑connected systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead backend/cloud design for scalable AWS‑based IoT consumer app.
• Own backend architecture: APIs, data models, event-driven workflows, telemetry, AWS IoT Core integration.
