Digital Technology Solutions is looking for an IoT Cloud Developer for a client position. In this senior role, you will design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS, with a focus on serverless, event-driven, and IoT-based architectures.

You will help connect device data with backend services and build reliable systems that meet performance, security, and operational requirements. This is a hands-on engineering opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex requirements

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud solutions on AWS.
• Experience with AWS IoT Core and integrating device data with backend services.
• Serverless applications with AWS Lambda and TypeScript.
• Designing DynamoDB data models for high-throughput workloads.
• Experience with event-driven services and data workflows (Kinesis, SNS, S3, Glue, Athena, QuickSight).
• Familiarity with AWS Fargate and containerized services (Golang).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support AWS cloud-native solutions for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to AWS IoT Core architectures and move device data into backend systems.
• Develop serverless apps using AWS Lambda and TypeScript; model high-throughput DynamoDB data.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kinesis, SNS, and S3; support Glue, Athena, QuickSight.
• Evaluate Fargate options for longer-running or stateful services; code in Golang.
• Monitor production systems, improve performance and cost efficiency, and resolve incidents.
• Provide technical direction and mentor Associate Cloud Engineers; communicate decisions clearly.
