Job summary

Unió Digital is seeking a Senior Developer & Automation Specialist to build backend integrations and automation workflows for internal operations and client automation projects. This remote-friendly contractor role emphasizes Go/Python services, REST APIs, and AI-powered tools.

You will work on CI/CD, code quality, and documentation while partnering with Project Services for client-facing automation builds. Eligible to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development experience in Go or Python.
• Strong REST API and webhook experience.
• Experience with at least one orchestration platform (n8n, Rewst, Zapier, Power Automate).
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI).

Responsibilities

• Develop services in Go and Python that integrate with vendor APIs.
• Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n or Rewst.
• Contribute to AI/LLM-powered projects and chat agents.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Services on client-facing automation builds.
