Job summary

Félix is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to shape the core architecture of its fintech platform. You will build, optimize, and scale backend microservices in the Consumer Lending team, focusing on secure, high-performance financial workflows.

You will work with Python, Flask/FastAPI, and Google Cloud, ensuring robust payment and disbursement capabilities. Fully remote in the US, with future hybrid plans, you’ll mentor teammates and drive best practices across the engineering org.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in fintech or fast-paced settings.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience designing web services and REST APIs.
• Familiar with Hexagonal/Event-Driven architectures and feature flags.
• Understanding of payment systems, disbursements, or compliance domains.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices in the Consumer Lending team.
• Design and manage infrastructure to handle millions of daily requests securely.
• Leverage Google Cloud services to build distributed financial systems.
• Collaborate with product, ops, and compliance for holistic financial solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Continuously refine platform capabilities using analytics and feedback.
