Valon, a Series C fintech backed by a16z, is building a modern mortgage servicing platform to transform a highly regulated industry. We’re seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our New York City-based team and work on Python-based services, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform, with hybrid or remote options.

You’ll design scalable systems, navigate regulatory requirements, and collaborate with product and design to deliver robust solutions that scale to billions of dollars

Formación

• Minimum of 4–6 years of software engineering experience.
• Backend expertise in building scalable systems.
• Must live in the United States.
• Experience at a well-known high-growth tech startup.
• Proficient with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsabilidades

• Learn new concepts quickly and apply them to challenging problems.
• Design and build robust infrastructure to handle evolving federal, state, and agency regulations.
• Dive deep to understand a highly complex industry.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define the best experience for our customers.
