Job summary

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience designing financial/ledger/payments systems with auditability.
• Backend in Go, Java, or Python with strong system design skills.
• Leads complex architectural work across teams without direct authority.
• Communicates tradeoffs clearly to execs and stakeholders.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-quarter technical strategy for FinHub's ledger and money-movement platform.
• Architect unified primitives across fiat and crypto fund flows.
• Lead rearchitecture of distributed financial workflows with strong correctness.
• Drive end-to-end design and rollout of large cross-team initiatives.
• Partner with Payments, Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
• Mentor senior staff engineers to raise the bar on design and maintainability.
