United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior backend engineer to own and architect critical backend systems. You will work with firmware, mobile, and frontend teams to deliver scalable APIs and latency-sensitive services across the globe.

You should bring 7+ years in backend software, 4+ years in a fast-growing startup, and strong Python/Go and PostgreSQL skills, with Kubernetes familiarity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• 4+ years as backend engineer at a growing startup.
• Experience driving technical direction and leading engineers.
• Architect scalable, latency-sensitive backend systems.
• Design robust, cross-functional APIs.
• Ownership mentality spanning teams.
• Deep expertise with relational databases; PostgreSQL a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python or Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
