Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong backend engineering knowledge of distributed systems, scalability and performance.
• Proficiency in designing microservices and APIs.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support of complex software systems.
• Build scalable, reliable backend services, distributed systems, and stream-processing solutions.
• Own major engineering initiatives from discovery through delivery and production rollout.
• Balance new feature delivery with modernization, reliability, and maintenance of existing systems.
• Mentor engineers and promote standards for code quality, testing, observability, and operations.
