Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a senior backend engineer to own end-to-end production systems within the Ventura API Platform. You will design, build, and operate large-scale backend services, focusing on identity, OAuth/OIDC, and secure, scalable APIs across devices and partners.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure reliability, observability, and performance at scale on a global platform, with emphasis on secure multi-tenant authorization and developer-facing tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating production-grade user-facing APIs.
• Strong background in identity and access management (session, device, entitlement, multi-tenant auth).
• Hands-on API tooling: contract testing, versioning, safe rollout/migration.
