Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Identity Engineer to own large-scale distributed systems and data products that process petabyte-scale data across cloud and physical infrastructure.

You will collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and product teams to build reliable, high-performance identity graphs and data services that power advertising on a global scale. Strong ownership and OO design are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with data-intensive or platform projects.
• Strong ownership of end-to-end data engineering work.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Hands-on with high-throughput pipelines (Spark, ETL) and scalable data processing.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, SQL and OO design.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and service-oriented architectures.
• Product-minded with focus on client impact and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborative, diverse mindset.
