The Trade Desk in Denver, CO, is seeking a Senior Identity Engineer to own end-to-end design, build, and operation of large-scale identity infrastructure and data products processing petabyte-scale data across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance systems that scale globally, with a privacy-conscious approach to identity graphs and real-time processing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of impactful work in software engineering with data-intensive or platform-oriented domains.
• Ownership mindset with end-to-end contributions to large data engineering projects.
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems across cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Hands-on with high-throughput pipelines processing billions of records (Spark/ETL or similar).
• Commercial development skills in Java, C#, or SQL; strong OO design.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and service-oriented architectures.
• Passion for delivering client value with openness, transparency, and evidence-based decisions.
