Job summary

The Trade Desk is building Ventura, a smart TV OS inside a global DSP. The API Platform team owns the front door to Ventura: boot, sign-in, and all API calls from TVs in the wild.

You’ll design and run production services with a focus on OAuth, identity, and multi-tenant authorization, while delivering reliable, scalable APIs that power advertiser platforms. You will collaborate with partner teams, implement secure authorization, and help set engineering standards across the Ventura platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating user-facing APIs in production.
• Background in identity and access management: session, device, entitlement, and multi-tenant authorization models.
• Hands-on experience with API tooling: contract testing, versioning, and safe rollout and migration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end design, build, and operation of Ventura API Platform systems.
• Designs OAuth and OIDC flows, device attestation, and authorization models.
• Defines scalable, reliable, and secure API standards across Ventura teams.
• Shapes portals, identity surfaces, and monetization pipelines for the OS.
