Job summary

Capio Group in California seeks an experienced Back-End/Full-Stack Developer to maintain and advance the IDW architecture with GenBI/AI/ML capabilities. You will work with SQL, data warehousing, and cloud services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring scalable analytics solutions.

The role emphasizes designing dashboards, applying UI/UX principles, and leveraging AWS/Snowflake ecosystems, with a flexible workplace and a strong work-life balance. On-site in Sacramento is expected.

Qualifications

• At least seven (7) years of experience in IT with data analysis or database querying.
• At least five (5) years in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI analytics.
• At least two (2) years with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse; and orchestration tools like Airflow/dbt.
• At least two (2) years of advanced SQL, data modeling (star/snowflake), and hands-on BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• At least two (2) years of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD for ML/data workflows, and cloud automation (Terraform, Ansible).
• Must provide client references; minimum of three references; ready to submit reference forms on request.

Responsibilities

• Design and build analytics dashboards using UI/UX principles with Chainlit, Streamlit, and React.
• Create interactive reporting and storytelling based on data visualization best practices.
• Leverage cloud services/APIs (e.g., Snowflake Cortex, AWS Bedrock KG) to accelerate use-case implementation.
• Build automated tests to ensure Text-to-SQL accuracy; perform prompt engineering for system behavior.
• Conduct AI/ML model prototyping with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn; apply semantic layers and data modeling.
