Job summary

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Back-End/Full-Stack Developer to join a Sacramento-based, full-time role. The position focuses on maintaining and advancing the Investment Data Warehouse (IDW) architecture, with GenBI/AI/ML capabilities in AWS/Snowflake environments.

You will design analytics dashboards using Chainlit, Streamlit, and React, while leveraging cloud services and BI tools. A strong emphasis on CI/CD, data modeling, and AI governance is required.

Qualifications

• At least seven years in IT with extensive experience in report writing, data analysis, or database querying.
• At least five years in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI analytics.
• At least two years with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse) and orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
• At least two years SQL (advanced joins, window functions), data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), and hands-on with major BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• At least two years hands-on in Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD for ML/data workflows, monitoring/logging, and cloud automation (Terraform, Ansible).
• For each applicable project, provide three client references; references must have managed the project.

Responsibilities

• Apply UI/UX principles to design analytics dashboards using Chainlit, Streamlit, and React.
• Leverage Snowflake Cortex and AWS Bedrock Knowledge Bases to accelerate use cases.
• Build automated tests to ensure Text-to-SQL accuracy and prevent hallucinations.
• Conduct AI/ML model prototyping with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Airflow/Matillion; manage data quality, transformation, and governance.
• Ensure IDW ecosystem is secure, scalable, and cost-effective; monitor logging and performance.
