Job summary

Superhuman Labs, Inc. is seeking a Back-End Engineer to build and operate high-throughput services powering AI agent orchestration and real-time data pipelines.

You will design core platform services and APIs connecting our AI engine to every product surface, including Go, Mail, Docs, and Enterprise. You will collaborate with ML/AI, Product, and Front-End teams to ship AI-powered features end to end, while ensuring high availability and scalable infrastructure across consumer and enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in back-end development.
• Experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
• Comfort working with AI-powered systems and backend services for AI products is a plus.
• Fluency with AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate high-throughput production services powering AI agent orchestration.
• Design and build core platform services — schedulers, history, protocols, APIs for AI engine integration.
• Collaborate across product surfaces (Go, Mail, Docs, Enterprise) to ship AI-powered features end to end.
• Mentor and grow junior engineers on the team.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code with high availability for consumers and enterprises.
