Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior database developer or similar role.
• Expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Strong T-SQL development, including procedures, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience with Azure hosted databases and cloud architectures.
• Hands-on PowerShell for deployment and automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub for version control.
• Solid data modeling and database design knowledge.
• Experience with .NET/C# backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL / SQL Server databases for enterprise apps.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL, procedures, functions, views, and indexes.
• Ensure performance, scalability, availability, and data integrity.
• Partner with application developers to support backend and full stack features.
• Implement and manage database deployments using PowerShell and release pipelines.
• Support CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Perform schema versioning, migration, and environment release coordination.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning.
• Enforce database security and access controls.
