Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design of innovative cloud solutions and to guide migrations of legacy apps to modern platforms. You will work hands-on with engineering teams and partner with stakeholders to drive architecture patterns and ensure scalable, secure deployments.

The role requires deep expertise in Azure, AI concepts, and containerization, plus 15+ years in network/system administration or related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering cloud-first designs on Azure and related tech.
• Experience architecting AI-enabled solutions and using Foundry, RAG concepts, or similar.
• Strong understanding of containerization (AKS, Azure Container Apps) and security practices.
• Extensive experience with Windows and Linux administration and networking.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of scalable cloud solutions across internal and client projects.
• Translate requirements into architecture patterns and designs for stakeholders.
• Document designs with architecture diagrams and design docs; mentor teammates.
