Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer in its Infrastructure Operations group to support enterprise cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.

The role covers resource provisioning, automation, monitoring, governance, and operations across cloud and hybrid environments, with a heavy emphasis on Azure Virtual Desktop technology. You will partner with network, security, applications, and business teams to deliver scalable, well-governed cloud services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration (compute, storage, identity, monitoring, backup, governance).
• Strong understanding of cloud principles including VDI/IaaS, PaaS, serverless, networking, security, scalability, resiliency, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Focus on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments and management.
• Support Azure infrastructure services: VMs, storage, DNS, identity, platform services.
• Implement and maintain IaC, automation, and governance tooling to ensure compliant cloud deployments.
• Maintain security controls: least privilege, privileged identity management, RBAC, encryption, logging, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with observability/ops teams to configure monitoring, dashboards, telemetry, and escalation paths.
• Support cloud lifecycle activities: OS upgrades, patching, backup, DR readiness, capacity planning, cost optimization.
• Work with stakeholders to validate designs and deliver cloud solutions aligned to enterprise standards.
• Triage incidents and assist with tier-3 troubleshooting for cloud infra issues.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and deployment guides for cloud platforms.
