Job summary

HCVT is building a new Azure cloud platform and seeks a Staff Azure Cloud Engineer to own design, implementation, and automation from week one. You will lead Terraform Cloud setup, networking, and security, partnering with security and IT teams to codify standards and enable self-service deployment.

The role requires strong Azure networking, Terraform, and policy‑as‑code skills, with hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and an emphasis on governance and observability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud infrastructure with production ownership.
• Strong Azure networking, Terraform/IaC expertise, and security mindset.
• Hands-on Terraform Cloud/Enterprise and policy-as-code experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the Azure landing zone following CAF and Well‑Architected guidance.
• Own Terraform Cloud setup, workspace structure, and remote state strategy.
• Configure hub-spoke networking, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and private endpoints.
• Codify standards into automation and pipelines with IaC tooling.
• Lead policy-as-code guardrails and secure deployment patterns.
• Develop self-service deployment patterns for teams to ship apps.
