HCVT is building a new Azure cloud platform for a multi‑year modernization program. We seek a Lead Azure Cloud Engineer who will own design and implement the landing zone and pipelines, writing code and validating security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering with production ownership.
• Well‑rounded Azure Cloud generalist across Terraform/IaC, Azure networking, and firewalls.
• Hands-on Terraform: modules, remote state, workspace/environment strategy.
• Strong Azure networking and security: hub-spoke, NSGs, private endpoints, DNS.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for tooling/automation.
• Ability to define a self‑service deployment pattern for other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the Azure landing zone aligned to CAF and Well‑Architected pillars.
• Leverage AVM and compose Terraform modules for scalable infra.
• Own Terraform Cloud setup: workspaces, state, variable sets, triggers.
• Hands‑on networking/firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Codify standards with security, IT, and network teams into automation.
• Set up policy‑as‑code guardrails and a data‑driven security baseline.
• Create a self‑service deployment path for app engineers to ship code.
