Job summary

HCVT is creating a new Azure cloud platform to support a multi‑year modernization program. Lead Azure Cloud Engineer responsible for design ownership, hands‑on implementation, and setting the technical bar for the team.

You will work with IT, security, and network teams to codify standards into automation, build pipelines, and establish a self‑service golden path for developers to ship application code onto the landing zone.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering with production ownership.
• Well‑rounded Azure Cloud generalist across Terraform/IaC, Azure networking, and firewalls.
• Deep hands‑on Terraform experience: module authorship, remote state, environment strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the Azure landing zone aligned to CAF design areas and Well‑Architected Framework pillars.
• Own Terraform Cloud setup: workspace structure, variable sets, run triggers, remote state strategy.
• Own hands‑on networking and firewall configuration: hub-spoke topology, NSGs, Azure Firewall, private endpoints, DNS.
