Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to deploy, maintain, and scale hybrid cloud infrastructures for Air Force programs. You will lead IaC-driven deployments in Azure, integrate security into CI/CD, and ensure high availability across multi-location environments.

The role requires on-site work with a Top Secret clearance and experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. Successful candidates will join a fast-paced, mission-focused team in a challenging setting.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI prior to start.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s with 2+ years of experience.
• DoD 8140 Intermediate certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or similar certifications.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) knowledge.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and DevSecOps practices.
• Interest in cybersecurity and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructures in Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS).
• Automate deployments with IaC/Configuration-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM/BICEP).
• Provision and scale Azure resources with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor usage for cost efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement security, compliance, and DevSecOps standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes for microservices.
