Job summary
Cencora is seeking a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to drive DevOps excellence, focusing on design, build, and operation of Azure cloud infrastructure to support multiple teams.
You will work with the architecture group to deploy cloud solutions via PAAS, IAAS, using Terraform for IaC, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across projects. The ideal candidate has extensive Azure cloud and Terraform experience, strong collaboration skills, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure, and reliable cloud
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years in DevOps with Azure DevOps as engineer/tech lead.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and best practices for cloud-native apps.
- Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid networking fundamentals and security concepts.
- Experience in production environments and observability tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure for multiple teams.
- Deploy cloud applications using Azure services and Terraform IAC.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with engineering squads.
- Monitor and optimize scalability, security, and reliability of Azure deployments.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to standardize DevOps practices.
- Evaluate new tools and tech to advance DevOps capabilities.
