Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to drive DevOps excellence across our Azure-based infrastructure. The role covers design, building, and operations of cloud resources and implements infrastructure as code using Terraform.

You will collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to deploy scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, leveraging App Gateway, APIM, Container Apps, and Azure SQL. On-site work at Conshohocken, PA or Carrollton, TX is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field.
• At least 4 years in DevOps with Azure-focused roles (engineer/lead/related).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native components (DNS, App Gateway, Azure SQL, App Services, Blob Storage, Load Balancer, WAF).
• Strong understanding of IaC, containerization/orchestration, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python) and knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deploy applications to Azure cloud.
• Deploy and manage services across Azure with Terraform and IaC.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with engineering squads.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
• Design secure, scalable network topologies (VNET, NSG, Private DNS, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute).
• Collaborate with teams to ensure deployments meet scalability, security, and reliability goals.
• Evaluate and recommend Azure tools, services, and DevOps practices.
• Lead knowledge sharing and standardize DevOps resources across teams.
• Continue learning industry trends in Azure and DevOps.
