Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to drive DevOps excellence, designing and operating Azure infrastructure and implementing Terraform-based IaC across multiple teams. The role collaborates with architecture and engineering to deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions and improve time-to-market.

The ideal candidate has strong Azure expertise, Terraform experience, and a track record of mentoring teams in best practices for CI/CD, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Substantial experience in DevOps, with ideally at least 4 years focusing on Azure DevOps as an engineer or technical lead.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud-native services (DNS, App Gateway, Azure SQL Server, App Services, Blob Storage, Load Balancer, WAF) and best practices.
• Understanding of IaC, PaaS, Containers, CI/CD and related DevOps concepts.
• Experience with Terraform and scripting languages (Shell, Python).

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and manage applications on Azure cloud.
• Deploy applications leveraging Azure services and network topologies (VNET, NSG, Private DNS, Private Endpoints).
• Provision Azure resources with IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure deployments meet scalability, security, and reliability standards.
• Evaluate tools and processes related to Azure and DevOps and share knowledge across teams.
• Stay current with Azure and DevOps trends.
