Job summary

CRC Group seeks an Engineer for the Cloud Platform team to enable application development teams on an Azure-based infrastructure model. You will drive IaC using Terraform, create and configure CI/CD pipelines, and enable the adoption of Azure OpenAI capabilities within cloud-native applications.

Location options include Charlotte, with collaborations across enterprise landing zones and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cloud and related technologies experience.
• Understanding of networking concepts (vWAN hubs, vNets, Front Door, load balancers).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, PKI.
• Ability to translate manual configurations into Terraform IaC modules.
• Hands-on with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Azure Landing Zones and Enterprise Scale architectures.
• Familiar with Subscription Vending frameworks and automated provisioning workflows.
• Knowledge of RBAC, policy and governance in Azure.
• Experience with Terraform state management and remote backends.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and configuration of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Translate manual configurations into reusable Terraform modules.
• Provide troubleshooting and enablement to accelerate DevOps adoption.
• Assist teams in provisioning Azure subscriptions via Subscription Vending.
• Guide setup of landing zones aligned with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate Azure OpenAI capabilities where applicable.
• Ensure secure environments via RBAC, policy, and governance.
