Job summary

Fisher Investments is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support the Azure-based cloud platform. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure, collaborate with global teams, and ensure secure, compliant operations while driving automation.

You will work with IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and cloud security controls, while providing on-call support and engaging with business owners to align solutions with standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT Infrastructure across platforms with Azure/AWS cloud services.
• 5+ years building, deploying and managing IaaS and PaaS on Azure/AWS.
• 4+ years Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including reusable modules and CI/CD integration.
• 2 years hands-on Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI or similar cloud-based AI services.
• Hands-on cloud security and governance controls including policy, Defender for Cloud, and identity governance.
• Strong networking knowledge (DNS, routing, firewalls, private access).
• Scripting and automation of builds, workflows, tasks and integrations.
• Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling.
• Deploy enterprise-scale cloud resources via code for broad reuse.
• Act as a liaison to business app owners and cloud team.
• Develop and maintain scalable AI infrastructure on the cloud platform.
• Follow security audit requirements and controls in every action.
• Implement and advance IaC, CI/CD, tooling and automated deployment processes.
• Improve deployment processes and IaC scripts for efficiency and consistency.
• Participate in peer code reviews, design collaboration, and on-call duties.
• Use CM tools to provide cloud-based solutions meeting best practices.
• Collaborate with architects and leads to ensure alignment with standards and security.
