Fisher Investments in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate modern data solutions on cloud platforms. You will partner with business, technology and governance teams to build scalable data pipelines that power analytics and AI.

The role focuses on ETL/ELT, data vault or dimensional modeling, security and monitoring, and mentoring junior staff. Strong Azure experience with SQL Server, data warehousing and DevOps tooling is preferred; in-office with possible hybrid

Qualifications

• 15+ years creating data solutions across enterprise environments.
• 10+ years with relational databases on Azure platforms.
• 4+ years working with Azure IaaS/PaaS and hybrid infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data tools: Data Factory, Synapse, Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL or Scala and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading pipelines.
• Develop and manage data storage models (data vault or dimensional) on cloud platforms.
• Coordinate security, monitoring, and DevOps tooling for data platforms.
• Provide operational support and incident management for data pipelines.
• Mentor junior data and BI personnel.
