Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to partner with Telecommunications and Media customers, driving cloud transformations and AI deployments on AWS.

You will design scalable architectures across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments and engage with senior technical leaders to shape strategic outcomes. The role emphasizes generative AI, 5G, and edge workloads, with collaboration across Specialist SAs, ProServe, and the partner ecosystem to deliver proven solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience architecting infrastructure solutions on Linux/Unix and Windows.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders at a technical level.
• 3+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for Telco and Media customers on cloud transformation and AI adoption journeys.
• Design and architect large-scale, distributed systems spanning on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.
• Guide customers on generative AI use cases—agentic voice systems, intelligent network operations, and AI-powered customer care.
• Drive engagements to develop technical strategies for migrations (5G core, OSS/BSS, RAN, media streaming).
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS with deep architectural discussions on resiliency, security, and cost optimization.
• Build deep relationships across C-level, engineering leadership, and architecture teams to become the customer's trusted advisor.
• Collaborate across AWS teams (Specialist SAs, ProServe, Product, Partners) to drive repeatable telco/media solutions.
• Assist Partners in designing and implementing large-scale network transformation programs, including CNF and edge deployments.
• Influence AWS service roadmap by liaising between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge via whitepapers, blogs, reference architectures, and internal mechanisms.
• Represent and promote AWS within Telco/Media communities through workshops and conferences.
