Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Technologist to lead AI-native telecommunications solutions for 6G networks. You will drive end-to-end technical execution, co-design with customer teams, and scale prototypes into production offerings on AWS.

You will mentor engineers, drive industry collaboration, and lead architectural delivery across RAN AI, AI control plane, and NTN domains. This is a high‑visibility role at AWS Telecommunications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end‑to‑end roadmaps toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences and at C‑level, including training, workshops, publications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of AI-native network solutions with Tier-1 operators, from architecture to production.
• Own architecture and delivery of RAN AI, AI control plane, and agentic network framework solutions.
• Drive NTN architecture and delivery, including direct‑to‑device and interworking with RAN AI control plane.
• Scale crowdsourced innovation programs (hackathons, challenges, AI fellowships) with industry partners.
• Represent AWS in industry forums and standards bodies—driving AI-native network architectures.
• Orchestrate partner co-design programs translating joint roadmaps into deployable solutions.
• Build and lead a scaling function of FDEs and Solutions Architects for 6G/AI engagements.
• Author technical narratives, architecture documents, and solution proposals for AWS leadership.
• Drive 1P innovation by integrating agentic network capabilities into AWS platform.
• Mentor a community of builders on best practices for AI-native network delivery.
