Presidio is seeking an AWS Pre-Sales Solution Architect to blend hands‑on cloud architecture with leadership, guiding customers through AWS migrations, security, and modern infrastructure. This role focuses on scalable proposals, RFP responses, and shaping delivery strategies across industries.

You will own the sales cycle from requirements to handoff, design IaC pipelines, and mentor a team of architects to standardize best practices, align with AWS Well‑Architected pillars, and drive customer

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture or related roles.
5+ years in solutions architecture, pre‑sales, delivery, or similar client‑facing work.
3+ years delivering consulting services for IT strategy, placement, and cloud governance.
Deep AWS expertise across core services and well‑architected principles.

Responsibilities

Develop client-facing deliverables such as high‑level summaries, proposals, SOWs, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
Lead scoping workshops and migrate on‑prem apps and data centers to AWS.
Design cloud security and IAM strategies aligned with regulatory standards.
Drive IaC and CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation or Terraform.
Own the sales cycle from requirements through handoff to delivery.
Coordinate proposal approvals and ensure client‑facing outputs meet quality standards.
Standardize methods for solution design, deployment, and optimization.
